Arrest Made Following Concerns Raised by Residents About Drug Dealing in Coppock Close

Your local Safer Neighbourhoods Team continues to tackle drug-related activity following concerns raised by residents about anti-social behaviour and suspected drug dealing in and around Coppock Close.

While carrying out proactive patrols, PC Brennan, PC Reading and PC Seales observed two males leaving Coppock Close after interacting with another male in circumstances consistent with a suspected drug transaction. Officers stopped and detained the male, and a subsequent search resulted in a quantity of suspected Class A drugs being found.

The male was arrested on suspicion of Possession with Intent to Supply Class A drugs and taken into custody. The suspected drugs have been seized, and enquiries remain ongoing.
